The celebrity fucker commonly known as Dr. Drew is a topic of conversation often debated by addiction professionals. What he is doing by producing a tv show under the guise of helping people is unethical to the extreme. There is no way someone can receive help this way, on a show with a camera in their face and a production crew running around. Anyone with any training knows that what he is doing is unethical enough to put his license and credibility into serious question. That he is seen as a doctor at all is a travesty. The first oath of a doctor is ‘Do No Harm.’ All Dr. Drew does is harm. The producers of this show are complicit in the damage that is being perpetrated on people who are in the limelight. His ethics are non-existent and people need to know the truth to make informed decisions.

Dr. Drew is whining that people blame him when one of his patients relapses and dies. Since the show debuted in January of 2008, there’s been like a 13% mortality rate. And he talks about his patients being in denial?

YES Dr Death you indeed DO take the blame for doing harm when you have taken an oath to DO NO HARM. You have exploited these people for too long. They need real help, not your bullshit ‘disease theory’ pandering to the dangerous religious cult known as the 12 steps kind of help.
